Who we are

What we collect

When you contact us, by phone, email or the form on this website, we collect the details you give us: usually your name, email address, phone number, the address or postcode of the property, and anything you tell us about it.

If you instruct us, we also keep the information needed to carry out the survey or valuation and to send you the report, including details about the property and your legal adviser if you ask us to send them a copy.

How we use it

We use your information to reply to your enquiry, give you a quote, carry out the work you instruct us to do and keep the records our profession requires. We do this because it's needed to enter into and perform our contract with you, and to meet our legal and regulatory obligations.

We don't sell your information or use it for marketing.

Who we share it with

We only share your information where needed: for example with your legal adviser if you ask us to, our professional indemnity insurers, RICS if required for regulatory purposes, and the companies that provide our email and IT services.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't lead to an instruction are deleted within 12 months. Records of surveys and valuations are kept for as long as our professional and legal obligations require.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Contact us using the details above. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
